Massage provides relief to people of all ages – from infants to seniors – and all walks of life – from the weekend athlete to the overworked executive. Stress, anxiety, depression, and other health problems can be improved by the power of touch. It is one of the oldest and simplest forms of medical care used to ease pain and anxiety and to promote good health. Massage therapy is very beneficial to those who need relaxation or those suffering from pain/general soreness or other special challenges such as recovering from surgery, debilitating injury, a stroke, a neuromuscular disease, fibromyalgia, chronic pain or plenty of other conditions.

- MASSAGE TYPES -
A gentle relaxation massage affects the nervous system through nerve endings in the skin, stimulating the release of endorphins, the body’s natural ‘feel good’ chemicals. This release helps to induce relaxation and a sense of well-being, to relieve pain and reduce levels of stress chemicals such as cortisol and noradrenalin. A relaxation massage also helps reverse the damaging effects of stress by slowing the heart rate, improve respiration, and lowering high blood pressure. Stronger therapeutic massages stimulate blood circulation to improve the supply of oxygen and nutrients to body tissues and help the lymphatic system to flush away waste product. It also eases tense and knotted muscles and stiff joints, improving mobility and flexibility.
Providing a relaxing high quality therapeutic massage tailored to meet the needs and desires of each client for a great price.
Generally an eclectic style of massage is used by incorporating all techniques in a session as needed. However, a specific type or concentration can be requested or used as deemed necessary. Toward the end of most massages if time allows, warm moist towels are placed on the neck and face for relaxation and opening the sinuses. Very light scents are used in the oil/lotion and towels unless the client requests the use of unscented supplies.
